New Brunswick Community College program changes for September 2016

New Brunswick Community College (王中王六合彩特码) has announced changes to 10 programs for the 2016-2017 academic year starting in September. "王中王六合彩特码 reviews program performance at certain milestones in the year as part of our commitment to quality, relevant programs,” said Mary Butler, Vice-President, Academic Development. "We take into account current confirmed admissions as well as historic enrolment trends, labour market demand and industry needs."

Based on our most recent review, we have decided to suspend the following programs in the 2016-2017 academic year:

  • Civil Engineering Technology – Structural (Moncton);
  • Machinist program (Moncton) but continues to be available at Saint John Campus;
  • Sheet Metal Fabrication (Moncton); and
  • Personal Support Worker – Long Term Care (Woodstock)

There were also a number of newly introduced programs at specific Campus locations that did not meet minimum enrolment targets and as a result, will not launch in the 2016/2017 academic year.

  • IT: Quality Assurance Testing will not launch at the Fredericton Campus but continues to be available at the Moncton Campus;
  • Accounting & Payroll will not launch at the St. Andrews Campus but continues to be available in Miramichi, Woodstock, and Moncton Campuses;
  • Educational Assistant will not launch at the Moncton Campus but continues to be available at the Saint John Campus; and
  • International Trade will not launch at the Fredericton or Saint John Campus

These decisions are for the 2016-2017 academic year, beginning in September 2016. Programs may be reoffered in future years pending further review.

We have also made the decision to discontinue the following programs that were suspended in previous years:

  • Floor Installer;
  • Landscape; and
  • Event Management

Current students will not be impacted by these changes and will be able to complete their program as planned. "Our Recruitment team will be reaching out to future students impacted by these changes to help them identify other programs with available seats so that they can continue their plans to pursue an education at 王中王六合彩特码" explained Butler.
